Basketball Game Preview: Goodwell Eagles vs. Arnett Wildcats

Goodwell is 0-3 against Arnett since February of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Goodwell Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Arnett Wildcats at 12:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Goodwell came up short against Tyrone and fell 44-36. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Arnett also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Canute by a score of 58-46.

Arnett's defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3. As for Goodwell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Goodwell took a serious blow against Arnett in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 59-19. Can Goodwell avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
