            Volleyball Recap: Edgerton Flying Dutchmen vs. Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers        
        
		
        
        
            Edgerton was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers. If the Flying Dutchmen were looking for revenge after losing  3-0 to the Chargers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-6,  25-7.
 Reese Vande Griend paced Edgerton's offense, picking up three kills. Vande Griend got some help from  Cali Wagner and her three assists.
  Leah Vandewiele had a dynamite game For Westbrook-Walnut Grove.,  getting 17  digs and two  aces. Vandewiele has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  digs the last four times she's  played.
Edgerton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record  this season.
 Edgerton will challenge Pipestone at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, they will face off against Murray County Central at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
