Roseville had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-9 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warren Woods-Tower Titans 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since May 20, 2024.

As for Warren Woods-Tower, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11. Titans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Roseville since on Monday.

For Warren Woods-Tower's part, Cameron Patterson and Derek Akins were huge no matter where they played even without the win. Throwing, Patterson tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Akins struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed over his last four matchups. At bat, Patterson went 2-for-4 with two runs, while Akins went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Landon Chamberlain was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Foley Kedzior was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs.
