Baseball Recap: Mansfield Summit Takes a Loss

Mansfield Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Cleburne Yellowjackets, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Jaguars have lost by exactly ten runs.

Mansfield Summit saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Richard Graves, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Mansfield Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 6-22. As for Cleburne, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 19-7.

While Mansfield Summit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
