Centennial had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Turner Lions 1-0 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Centennial pushed their record up to 14-1-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Turner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8-4.

Looking ahead, Centennial will square off against Walnut Grove on Monday. Walnut Grove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. Turner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
