Volleyball Recap: Regents Lions vs. West Memphis Christian Black Knights
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jackson Academy, Regents was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the West Memphis Christian Black Knights. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Black Knights, too.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-19.
Sadie Smith was the offensive standout of the game as she had 12 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.
Regents is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for West Memphis Christian, they moved to 16-3 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.
