The Henderson County Colonels got the win against the Boyd County Lions on Saturday by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Colonels have won 19 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Henderson County's victory bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Boyd County, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-12.

Boyd County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against South Warren on the 10th. Hopefully Henderson County paid attention to the Lions' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
