Chowchilla wins going away against Orosi

Recap: Chowchilla Tribe vs. Orosi Cardinals
The Chowchilla Tribe entered their tilt with the Orosi Cardinals with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Chowchilla took down Orosi 56-38 on Wednesday. For Chowchilla, this counts as revenge for the 87-71 loss Orosi walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2017.
Leading Chowchilla to victory were Khaled Escheik and Ryan Deatherage. Escheik dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Deatherage scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Deatherage has scored at least 25% of Chowchilla's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dellvonta Vaughn, who scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
Chowchilla now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Orosi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Chowchilla will square off against Orosi at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orosi, they will square off against Chowchilla at 7:30 p.m.
