Baseball Recap: Sherman Huskies vs. Irrigon Knights
While Sherman put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Irrigon. Everything went the Sherman Huskies' way against the Irrigon Knights as the Sherman Huskies made off with a 14-0 win. This was a revenge contest for Sherman, as the team was forced to settle for a 5-4 loss when these two played on Friday.
For Irrigon's part, they got a good showing from Julian Gomez, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.
Sherman's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Irrigon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Sherman is on the road again on Saturday to play Lyle at 11:00 a.m. As for Irrigon, they will be playing at home against Dufur/South Wasco County at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday.
