Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Rocky Mountain

Mountain View hasn't had much luck against Rocky Mountain recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mavericks will host the Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Mountain View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Owyhee, who was ranked fifth at the time (Mountain View was ranked sixth). The Mavericks fell just short of the Storm by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

Mountain View's goal came courtesy of Marisol Stosich, who's now up to 23 this season.

Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain hasn't lost a match since August 28th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They and Eagle finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Rocky Mountain have been dealt a draw since back in September.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 10-2-2. Rocky Mountain's draw makes their record 10-1-2 this season.
