Baseball Recap: Goddard Comes Up Short

Goddard lost against La Cueva back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rockets came up short against the Bears, falling 9-2. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Goddard saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcos Rodriquez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Goddard now has a losing record of 5-6. As for La Cueva, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Goddard didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Carlsbad on the 3rd. As for La Cueva, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-1 win against Rio Grande on the 3rd.
