Baseball Recap: Brewster Academy National Takes a Loss

Brewster Academy National fell victim to Vermont Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 16-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Brewster Academy National's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Vermont Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Brewster Academy National will host Tilton School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Vermont Academy, they will challenge Kimball Union Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
