Softball Game Preview: West Orange-Stark Mustangs vs. Vidor Pirates

West Orange-Stark hasn't had much luck against Vidor recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs will head out to take on the Pirates at 6:30 p.m. West Orange-Stark has given up an average of 9.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for West Orange-Stark's offense. They came up short against Little Cypress-Mauriceville on Friday, falling 15-0. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, Vidor came up short against Little Cypress-Mauriceville on Tuesday and fell 6-3.

Vidor's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for West Orange-Stark, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11-2.

West Orange-Stark might still be hurting after the 21-1 loss they got from Vidor in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
