Volleyball Recap: West Nodaway Gets the Win

West Nodaway posted their closest win since September 17, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Pawnee City Indians 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

West Nodaway was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-12, 22-25, 25-15.

Gracie Larabee paced West Nodaway's offense, picking up seven kills. Larabee got some help from Annalee Livengood and her 14 assists. Hadley Fast controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

West Nodaway's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Pawnee City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, West Nodaway and Pawnee City will both be playing Falls City the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Tigers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rockets will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
