Soccer Recap: Righetti Takes a Loss

Righetti was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pioneer Valley Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Isaiah Torres, who's now up to two this season.

Righetti's record now sits at 15-4-4. As for Pioneer Valley, their win bumped their record up to 12-4-2.

Righetti and Pioneer Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Righetti will face off against Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 310 places (130 vs. 440). Meanwhile, Pioneer Valley (ranked 185th) will meet Paso Robles (ranked 496th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
