Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask C.A. Johnson). They enjoyed a cozy 49-30 win over the Columbia Capitals on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Columbia's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aalisah Davis, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

C.A. Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Columbia, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

C.A. Johnson will take on Great Falls in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-4 defeat against Richland Northeast on the 14th.
