Basketball Recap: Aurora West College Prep Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against DSST: College View

Aurora West College Prep Academy had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 67-40 defeat at the hands of the DSST: College View Wolves. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

DSST: College View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joshua Sosa led the charge by shooting 45% from the field en route to 18 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ezekiel Perlman, who went 8-for-19 to rack up 19 points and four steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aurora West College Prep Academy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Regis Groff at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for DSST: College View, they will square off against Denver Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
