Basketball Game Preview: Manson Trojans vs. Brewster Bears

Manson is 0-10 against Brewster since January of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Manson Trojans will challenge the Brewster Bears at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Manson is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Friday. They fell 67-54 to Chelan. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Mountain Goats are ranked 35th).

Meanwhile, Brewster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Lakeside, falling 69-36. The game marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Brewster's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Manson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Manson was taken down by Brewster 72-40 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Thankfully for Manson, Cort Gebbers (who went 11 of 15 on his way to 25 points in addition to six boards and four steals) won't be suiting up this time.
