The win continues a trend for the Hatchets in their matchups with the Alices: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Heritage Hills had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-41 W against the Wildcats.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Heritage Hills, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Washington came up short against Heritage Hills in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 57-52. Can Washington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
