Volleyball Game Preview: Arlington Colts vs. Martin Warriors + How To Watch

Arlington is 0-10 against Martin since October of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Colts will head out to challenge the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Arlington is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

If Grand Prairie wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Arlington, they should've done a better job of containing Evelien Hodges. The Colts were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gophers on Friday with plenty of help from Hodges, who had four digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having also posted 13 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Arlington walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Martin got the win against Sam Houston on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Martin took every set by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-8, 25-8.

Martin's victory bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Arlington, their win bumped their record up to 14-18.

Arlington might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Martin when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Colts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
