Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Christian Crusaders vs. Lincoln Lutheran Warriors
After flying high against Elmwood-Murdock on Tuesday, Lincoln Christian came back down to earth. The Crusaders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
Lincoln Christian was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 26-24, 32-30.
Livia Drevo paced Lincoln Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Drevo got some help from Kaylee Drevo and her 15 assists. Maci Pittenger and Sam Dearking kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Jadyn Keenan was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and three assists.
