Trigg County is 7-2 against Fort Campbell since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will challenge the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Trigg County will be strutting in after a win while Fort Campbell will be coming in after a loss.

Trigg County will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up six points last Friday, then bounced right back against Todd County Central on Friday. The Wildcats took their game with ease, bagging a 48-6 victory over the Rebels. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Fort Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by Mayfield 58-0. Considering the last time the Falcons couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Fort Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Trigg County, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-6.

Trigg County beat Fort Campbell 35-26 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
