Softball Recap: Southern Door Has No Trouble Against Gibraltar

Southern Door had won three straight at home, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 3-3 to make it four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gibraltar Vikings a 10-0 shutout. The match marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

As for Gibraltar, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7. The contest marked the first time this season in which they were not able to get on the board.

For Gibraltar's part, Mia Glocke spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and nine unearned) runs on six hits.

Southern Door wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-7 win against Chilton on the 26th. As for Gibraltar, they have also already played their next matchup, a 13-0 defeat against Peshtigo on the 2nd.
