Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Gilmanton Panthers on Tuesday as they made off with a 60-35 victory. For the Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 77-69 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

Leading Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran to victory were Thomas Carstensen and Jake Zimmerman. Carstensen almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards, while Zimmerman posted 15 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Cameron Nelson, who had eight points and five rebounds.

Looking ahead, Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran will square off against Augusta at 7:15 p.m. on the 4th. As for Gilmanton, they will challenge Cochrane-Fountain City at 7:15 p.m. on the 4th.
