Recap: Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars vs. Pine Knights
The Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars suffered their biggest loss since November 27, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 61-27 loss at the hands of Pine. Dreyfoos School of the Arts has not had much luck with Pine recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Dreyfoos School of the Arts' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zach Turner, who scored six points along with two steals, and Tyson Jimerson who scored six points. That's the first time this season that Turner grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Zidane Guerrier, who scored three points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Dreyfoos School of the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Pine, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dreyfoos School of the Arts will take on Berean Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine, they will head out on the road to square off against Lake Worth Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
