North Vermillion posted their closest victory since December 28, 2023 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Benton Central Bison, sneaking past 63-60. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

North Vermillion's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Teagan Leonard, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 19 points. Leonard's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Edwards, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 16 points.

North Vermillion's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Benton Central, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
