Basketball Recap: Balboa Falls Short Against Ranked 1 of 1 Academy

Balboa is ranked highly in their home state and on Sunday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of 1 of 1 Academy. The Balboa Roughriders took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the 1 of 1 Academy -. The matchup marked the Roughriders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Balboa still got an impressive performance from Vito Albanese, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds. Those six boards gave Albanese a new career-high. BwaBwa Josue was another key player, putting up six points and nine rebounds.
