Volleyball Recap: Little Elm Comes Up Short

Little Elm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Flower Mound Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-14.

Larisa Inocan paced Little Elm's offense, picking up seven kills. Inocan got some help from Berkley Russell and her 13 assists.

Little Elm's loss dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Flower Mound, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Little Elm is set to square off against their familiar foe Coppell at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Flower Mound will take on rival Lewisville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
