Basketball Recap: Columbia's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Columbia had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Lancaster Country Day by a score of 51-39 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Crimson Tide: when they faced off against Lancaster Country Day last Thursday, they had to take a 50-33 loss.

Columbia's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Lancaster Country Day, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Columbia will face off against Lancaster Mennonite at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lancaster Mennonite will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Columbia surely won't give up without a fight. Lancaster Country Day has already played their next match (against La Academia Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
