Volleyball Recap: Lake Forest Takes a Loss

Lake Forest lost against Grayslake Central back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scouts took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Scouts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-23.

Lake Forest now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Grayslake Central, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Lake Forest has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Zion-Benton on the 17th. As for Grayslake Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against North Chicago on the 18th.
