Baseball Recap: Banks Takes a Loss

Banks blew Neah-Kah-Nie out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Neah-Kah-Nie got their revenge. The Braves fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 6-4. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 14-4.

Wyatt Jackson and Cris Medina did some serious damage despite the final result: Jackson went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Medina went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI. Banks is 6-1 when Jackson posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-8 otherwise.

Banks' loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Neah-Kah-Nie, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15-1.
