Baseball Game Preview: Royal Palm Beach Wildcats vs. Benjamin Buccaneers

The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats will head out to face off against the Benjamin Buccaneers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Royal Palm Beach has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 17.

It was a proper cat-fight when Royal Palm Beach duked it out with Boca Raton on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bobcats, falling 7-1.

Royal Palm Beach saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santino Spidalieri, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Benjamin didn't have quite enough to beat Pine Crest on Saturday and fell 3-2.

Benjamin also got a good showing from Thomas Harris, who tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

Royal Palm Beach's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Benjamin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Royal Palm Beach might still be hurting after the 13-2 defeat they got from Benjamin in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
