Calvary Baptist fought the good fight in their overtime match against Milford Christian on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Milford Christian Conquerors by a score of 64-62. One positive for the Knights, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Bethany Mateo, who dropped a triple-double with 26 points, 17 rebounds, and 15 steals for Milford Christian. Mateo has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times she's played. Kailynn Coulter was another key player, putting up 24 points in addition to six steals and five boards.

Calvary Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Milford Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

As of now, neither Calvary Baptist nor Milford Christian have any future games scheduled.
