Volleyball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Comes Up Short

Tipton-Rosemark Academy came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Brighton Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

While Tipton-Rosemark Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-19.

Caroline Roland paced Tipton-Rosemark Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Roland got some help from Corbin Garcia and her 17 assists. Roland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Brighton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.
