Basketball Recap: Atlantic Christian Triumphs

The Christian Academy came into Friday's match looking for another win against Atlantic Christian, but Gianna Flynn wouldn't allow it. The Atlantic Christian Cougars strolled past The Christian Academy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 47-28 thanks in part to Flynn, who went 10 of 19 on her way to 28 points and five rebounds. Those 28 points gave her a new career-high.

Atlantic Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for The Christian Academy, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Atlantic Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-21 loss against Delaware County Christian on the 14th. As for The Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-28 defeat against The City School on the 14th.
