Soccer Recap: Lake Worth Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Crowley, Lake Worth was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Non Varsity Opponent a 7-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bullfrogs needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

The victory got Lake Worth back to even at 1-1.

Lake Worth will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 5:55 p.m. on Saturday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will take on Highland in a tournament on Friday. Non Varsity Opponent's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
