Soccer Game Preview: Patterson vs. East Union

The Patterson Tigers will square off against the East Union Lancers at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Patterson is headed into the game without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. Their defense stepped up to hand Tracy a 2-0 shutout on Monday.

Adrian Gutierrez and Andrew Diaz scored both of Patterson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday East Union sidestepped Grace Davis for a 1-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

East Union's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Patterson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-0-3 record this season.
