Fennimore is 8-2 against Iowa-Grant since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Fennimore will be strutting in after a victory while Iowa-Grant will be coming in after a loss.

Fennimore took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Cuba City, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Golden Eagles' pitcher stepped up to hand the Cubans a 2-0 shutout on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Golden Eagles have posted against the Cubans since May 11, 2021.

The result came thanks to Tyson Starkey's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Corey Dresen, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Iowa-Grant came up short against Riverdale on Friday and fell 9-4.

Fennimore beat Iowa-Grant 8-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
