Basketball Recap: Union Piles Up the Points Against Oelwein

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union). They claimed a resounding 85-46 victory over the Oelwein Huskies. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Union, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.8 points. As for Oelwein, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Union will take on Jesup in a holiday battle at at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Union has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Oelwein and Columbus will compete for holiday cheer at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
