Baseball Recap: Caney Wins Going Away Against Atoka

Caney barely beat Atoka the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars blew past the Wampus Cats 11-1 on Tuesday. Considering the Cougars have won nine matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Caney and bumps their season record up to 10-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Atoka, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

Coincidentally, Caney and Atoka will both be playing Rock Creek the next time they take the field. The Wampus Cats will head out to face the Mustangs on Tuesday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
