Softball Recap: Southern Lehigh Takes a Loss

Southern Lehigh lost against Easton Area back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans lost 9-2 to the Rovers. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southern Lehigh saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Torey Ritter, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another was Lila Padden, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Southern Lehigh's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Easton Area, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Southern Lehigh will take on Salisbury Township at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Easton Area, they will square off against Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
