Abington was the 75-65 winner over New Bedford when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Abington Green Wave fell just short of the New Bedford Whalers by a score of 83-81 on Thursday. The Green Wave's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Abington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for New Bedford, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
