 South Plantation was the  16-0 winner over Deerfield Beach when they last played one another  back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The South Plantation Paladins fell just short of the Deerfield Beach Bucks by a score of  8-6 on Tuesday.
  Andrew Gollan was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 1-for-1.  Elijah Pierce was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.
 On Deerfield Beach's side,  Thomas Robinson was  excellent,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Barack Lara, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 South Plantation has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record  this season. As for Deerfield Beach, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-8.
 South Plantation will be playing at home against Westminster Academy at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Westminster Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game this season. As for Deerfield Beach, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Pembroke Pines Charter at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
