Soccer Game Preview: Calvary Christian Academy vs. Delaware County Christian

The Calvary Christian Academy Cougars will take on the Delaware County Christian Knights at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Calvary Christian Academy fell victim to Merion Mercy Academy and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 4-0 to the Golden Bears. While losing is never fun, Calvary Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 344th, while Merion Mercy Academy are ranked 171st).

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Delaware County Christian was forced to settle for a draw. They and Cardinal O'Hara finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Delaware County Christian's draw gives them a new season record of 4-0-1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
