Game recap: Northlake Christian High School Football Team defeats Pope John Paul II

COVINGTON, La. - Northlake Christian (Covington, La.) extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 41-3 victory over Pope John Paul II (Slidell, La.) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Josh O'Rear touchdown run in the first quarter, the Wolverines were up 27-0 at the half.

Northlake Christian expanded its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. NC's lone score in the quarter came on a O'Rear touchdown pass to Jordan Rider.

The Covington school came into the game allowing 13.6 points per game.
