Soccer Game Preview: North Valleys vs. Sparks

The North Valleys Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Sparks Railroaders at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Valleys' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

North Valleys took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Reed, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers never let the Raiders get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Sparks waltzed into their match on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Mustangs 5-0. Sparks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by three goals or more this season.

North Valleys' record now sits at 6-8-2. As for Sparks, their record is now 15-2.

North Valleys suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Sparks in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
