Basketball Recap: Southridge Falls Short Against Ranked Westview

On Tuesday, Southridge faced Westview in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Southridge Skyhawks were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Westview Wildcats. That makes it the first time this season the Skyhawks have let down their home crowd.

Southridge's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Westview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Southridge will face off against Aloha at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westview, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats challenge the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
