Basketball Recap: Athens Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Tallulah Falls

Athens Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 58-54 to the Tallulah Falls Indians on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Tallulah Falls' win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Athens Academy will take on Lake Oconee Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tallulah Falls, they will challenge Prince Avenue Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
