Softball Recap: Dos Pueblos Chargers vs. Royal Highlanders
Dos Pueblos extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 10-12 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Royal Highlanders. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Juliana Brunner put in work while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
