Basketball Recap: Zion-Benton Takes a Loss

Zion-Benton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 53-6 defeat at the hands of the Maine East Blue Demons. The contest marked the Zee-Bees' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Zion-Benton's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Maine East, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zion-Benton will host Lake Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maine East, they will be playing at home against Highland Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
